It can be difficult to process all of the rapidfire changes in the international system right now. That's why we've developed a structured but informal space for peers to discuss and process in real-time.
Our peer groups:
are small groups of 5-6 people each,
meet weekly online at the time that works best for the majority,
repeated weekly for a two-month duration,
and lightly facilitated by a volunteer facilitator.
Rather than having large meetings in which people come and go, peer groups can support individuals through transitions in a smaller container of trust. To build that trust, we ask that peer group participants commit to the group for the full two months. (We, of course, understand that there may be a specific day or week that won't work!)
As of 20 March, we have two peer groups going. The next round are due to start in April. Join us!
How can you join a peer group?
If you'd like to sign up for a peer group, please email ourstopgap@gmail.com with (1) your name, and (2) a few sentences about why you are interested in participating in a peer group. Feel free to be in touch with any questions, concerns, or ideas.
Note: We'll host at least one peer group targeted specifically at thinking through fundraising opportunities and approaches. If you'd like to join that specific group, please let us know in your email.
